Sadhana Integration Courses
Midi
Sadhana Course
Midi Sadhana is a 6-8 weeks course meant primarily
for persons in leadership and whose work involves
caring for others - superiors, formation personnel,
spiritual guides and counsellors. The course
is an experiential one and its main objective
is to help participants in self-awareness and
personal integration so that their impact on
others can be more effective, life-giving and
growth-promoting. A typical Midi Sadhana course
begins with basic orientation and community
building sessions followed by a Vipassana retreat
that would set the tone of silence and awareness
for what follows. Focusing builds on it with
body awareness and emotional change. The group
therapy experience of about 4 weeks is truly
intensive and invites participants to be honest
and compassionate towards themselves and others.
Frequently there is an additional week made
up of Intensive Journal, Human Sexuality and
Affectivity or Theological Reflections on the
human growth process. The course usually ends
with a week of Gita Sadhana - A Spirituality
for Today which is an integrative course that
offers an understanding of the spirituality
and the world view of the Gita.
Mini
Sadhana
Mini Sadhana is a 4 week experience of self-awareness
and inner healing. A typical Mini Sadhana starts
with Community Building sessions followed by
Focusing or Intensive Journal, and Group Therapy.
Preference is given to prospective applicants
to the ICP course. Other participants are generally
people in different administrative or leadership
positions.
Personal
Growth Groups
An opportunity for personal growth and inner
healing through intensive group therapy is offered
by this relatively short course of 10 to 20
days. The course is meant primarily for the
selection of future ICP students although others
are also accepted for the course whenever seats
are available.
